Marmaduke

My story

Meet Marmaduke, a big boy with a big smile and even bigger heart! His triangular eyes beg, “love me!”. He came in as a stray, and can’t wait for a home where he can feel safe and well-fed. At 90 lbs, Marmaduke is a substantial size. He is a gentle giant and greets people politely. He is walked by volunteers and is gentle and friendly towards them. He walks fairly well on the leash, and likes to sniff as he walks, but can pull occasionally. He likes to be petted and knows sit. A volunteer describes him as `Marmaduke, almost 100 pounds, is a soft-hearted teddy bear. He walks great on a leash, takes treats gently. He’s timid at first, but once he warms up, he’s the definition of a gentle giant. Also 7 years old and found as a stray. `Marmaduke would rather be the only male dog in the home, but may do well with a canine sister. Bring your female pup to be introduced to him by staff before bringing him home!Marmaduke is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations, and ready for his forever home!
