Rusty

My story

Meet Rusty: Rusty has been with us for over 2 months. Rusty is almost 13 years old. He had a mass removed on his right shoulder, which was inconclusive on a cancer diagnosis. Rusty`s weight and bloodwork has been stable; however, he is beginning to deteriorate in the shelter. Rusty has been put on a prescription diet, and probiotic supplement to help alleviate some of the symptoms his shelter stress has caused. Rusty is also Hyperthyroid and requires medication twice a day. He tolerates his medication well, and recent bloodwork shows his thyroid responding well to medication. Rusty is a very affectionate cat and would love to spend the rest of his days with a family to love. He is always purring, and slow blinking to let us know how much he loves us.
