My story

Meet Daryl, your new four-pawed best friend! Daryl has Personality Plus!! This friendly social butterfly adores people and other dogs. He loves playing with all sorts of toys….crunch toys, squeakers, and anything rubber—especially when it means a lively game of fetch. And he has so much fun when his foster mom chases him when he has a toy. Daryl is a smart puppy who has already mastered “sit” and “no,” “paw”, he sleeps soundly through the night, and he is house trained. Darly is good in the car, enjoys leisurely walks, and is happiest right by your side, proudly presenting his favorite toy for a cuddle session. His foster family says when he’s not running around the yard with our dog, he’s soaking up belly rubs and snuggling in for naps. Give Daryl a toy and he will play by himself too. Daryl is full of endless charm and he is affectionate to the core. We know Daryl will fill your days with laughter and love—he truly is a heart-of-gold pup looking for his forever family! Daryl is about 14-15 weeks old. He was in a shelter in NC until FHDR found out how sweet he was so we trasported him to NJ to live in a foster home. The breed and age of this pet is listed as is our best guess. We have no background info on who the mom and dad are. Please note we do not adopt puppies/dogs to homes where they will be left alone all day. We do not have a shelter facility you can visit. Our volunteers foster the dogs and pups in their homes once they have been vetted and transported here to NJ. Please read our homepage to read how the adoption process works.
