My story

Hello, I’m Mr. Dinkles—and yes, I do live up to the name. I may be 6 years old, but I’ve got the playful heart of a kitten and the purr of a champion. I absolutely adore my humans. Whether it’s curling up in my cozy tent, chasing a toy, or just soaking up your attention, I’m happiest when I’m near you.Now, you may notice my squinty eye—that’s just my signature look! I’ll need drops for now, and eventually I’ll be having the eye removed, but don’t worry, it doesn’t slow me down one bit. I can still see you just fine (especially when you’ve got treats or toys).I’m still learning that fingers aren’t toys, so I’d do best with someone who understands I’m a work in progress—but with a whole lot of love to give. I’ve also recently rediscovered the joy of being an indoor cat, and let me tell you: it’s amazing.If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion with a big personality and an even bigger heart, I’m your guy. Just don’t forget to close the baby gate—I’m a bit of an escape artist.My adoption fee of $25 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday are walk in from 10-5. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.
