KNOWN DISLIKES: Loud noises, seems a bit afraid of stairs but making great progress ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Meet "Nosey Nancy", a curious and inquisitive 6-7 year old female hound. This lovely pup was found as a stray in southern VA. While Nancy earned her name honestly, she is overall a lower energy dog in her kennel that prefers to nap in her bed all day. Nosey Nancy really adores people and attention and would love to find her forever home where she can soak up all the love that she deserves! From Nancy's foster mom..."This adorable 6-7 year old hound girl is looking for her FOREVER HOME! As her Foster mom i can vouch that Nancy is SUPER NOSEY (like, seriously, she'll sniff everything!) and loves: treats, sniffing adventures, and being the center of attention! She's also a BATH-TIME PRO - no fuss, no stress, just a clean and happy hound! She needs: a yard to explore (fencing a plus!), regular exercise, and a patient owner to help her adjust. If you're ready for a best friend who'll bring joy, laughter, and slobbery kisses into your life, Nancy's your girl! She’s settling in well, she’s very friendly with dogs and people. She’s super excited when we go on walks. She pulls a bit on the leash in the beginning but she calms down. Nancy doesn’t seem to have experience with stairs, they really frightened her at first but today she’s more confident and follows my dogs. Seems to be potty trained, no accidents yet.
