My story

Hello, my name is: Lemelo Fello aka “Leo”DOB: 03/24/2015Sex/Breed: Neutered male German Shepherd/Miniature Pinscher mix Weight: 15.1 lbs (you read that right)Rescued From: Found stray*SPECIAL NEEDS: LEMELO FELLO SEEMS TO BE HEARING IMPAIRED AND HAS HEART DISEASE AND WILL NEED DAILY MEDICATION AND ROUTINE CHECK UPS*Lemelo Fello is a silly little dog who moonlights as a big dog. When you see photos of him, you’d never believe how small he is. When we laid eyes on him at ACCT Philly, we knew we had to give him a chance. Lemelo Fello (nicknamed “Leo” by his foster mom) quickly settled into the home. He is living with dogs both big and small and cohabitates beautifully with them. He’s starting to show a playful side, so we think he could become a dog that likes to play with his pals, but right now he just hangs out. He even did well with our office cats when we introduced him. Leo is house trained, crate trained, and trots along nicely on leash. He makes the cutest little groans when he is feeling silly and getting pets from his person. If you are looking for a best friend to accompany you on errands, walks, and dining alfresco at restaurants, Leo is your guy! He is affectionate, but not the snuggling type. Hearing isn’t his strong suit, but he has already learned some hand signals in his foster home. Because he is hearing impaired, we think he’d really enjoy a physically fenced yard he can roam freely without the danger of getting away. This little man is going to be a wonderful buddy to a lucky family!!All our pets are microchipped, spayed/neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives.Interested in adopting?
