My story

Got a thing for celebrities? Then Def Leppard is your dude! This jammin’ 5-month old, 25-pound (as of 3/14) Boxer/Shepherd mix is a rock star in his own right, and is as charismatic as they come! But please don’t ask him to sign any autographs! ;-) Def Leppard, or DL for short, is an absolute bundle of love. No matter who you are, the moment you step through the door, he greets you like you’re his favorite person. Friendly toward kids, the elderly, and other dogs, DL sees everyone as a potential new pal. Curious, affectionate, playful, and unafraid, DL embraces new experiences with enthusiasm, excitement, and ease. He enjoys toys, romping around in the yard, being pet, sprawling out on your lap, and staying as close to his humans as possible. He displays a nice balance of going from high energy to super snuggliness. DL’s also a world class napper! Pad-trained and crate-trained, DL has gotten the hang of both, although he’d much rather hang out with you than be left alone in his crate. Hey, can’t blame him for that! Treat motivated, incredibly smart, and eager to please, DL is learning the commands sit, come, bed, and down. This bright boy shows amazing potential and has a helluva future ahead of him. DL would make an excellent family dog, given his sweet demeanor and adaptable nature. He’s not just a good boy…he’s a great boy…and anyone who adopts this fine creature is in for the treat of a lifetime!
