Quick Facts Name: Donny  Age: 1.5 years old (born November 2023)  Gender: Male Neutered/Spayed: Yes Breed: Terrier Jindo Color: Warm Brown  Weight: 18.5kg    All About MeI may have had a bit of a bumpy start, but I’m full of hope and heart, ready to find the home where I truly belong. I was just a young pup when I was found wandering on my own. Thankfully, some kind humans brought me to safety, and from there, I began my journey to becoming the sweet and loyal friend I am today. I did spend a little time in a home before, but it wasn’t quite the right fit for me. So now, I’m back with my rescue family—grateful, grounded, and ready for a fresh new chapter with someone who sees me for who I am.   My PersonalityI’m a bright, curious boy who still carries a bit of that playful puppy spirit. I love to run, bounce around, and chase after toys—especially if there’s a ball involved! I’m happiest when I have space to play and people to enjoy it with.I might take a little time to warm up to new faces, but if you give me a moment (and maybe a treat), I’ll soon be wagging my tail and gently inching closer for a sniff and a smile. I don’t always love being picked up or fussed over, but once I feel safe with you, I’ll show you my soft belly and nuzzle right into your hand.I can be quite the thoughtful boy, too—sometimes I pause to take in the world around me. I prefer calm, gentle energy and really connect with people who respect my space and let me come to them in my own time.   Social Skills• With People: I’m loyal and affectionate with the people I trust. It may take a few days for me to settle in, but when I do, I’ll become your very best friend.• With Kids: I’ve been around young children before and did my best, but I’d prefer a home where the little ones are gentle and respectful.• With Dogs: I’m a friendly guy and enjoy meeting new canine friends! I know how to keep things peaceful and playful.• With Cats: I haven’t spent time with cats, but on walks I’ve seen a few and just curiously watched from a distance.   On My Walks‍I absolutely love being outside! Walks are one of my favorite parts of the day. Sometimes I get so excited I tug a bit on the leash, but I’m learning quickly how to walk beside my person. Loud or unfamiliar noises might startle me, but with your calm reassurance, I bounce back in no time.   Life at HomeAt home, I settle beautifully in my kennel and know how to keep things quiet and calm. I’m not a big barker—just observant and thoughtful. I’m doing great with house training, especially outdoors, and I’m still learning the ropes when it comes to new places and situations. I’m food-motivated, so positive reinforcement helps me learn quickly!
