Paprika

My story

This little spice girl is definitely a free spirit. She will let you hold her, and purrs softly when petted with a sweet content look on her face. But it might not be for long because she has things to do and places to go! She and her BFF, Elmira, chase each other throughout the house, climb the cat furniture on the walls at an amazing speed, and play with toys back and forth. When she calms down to rest, her favorite spot is a person’s lap or somewhere very near a human. She will also snuggle with her bestie for grooming and naps. At bedtime, she likes to lay on the person’s side or by their feet. She likes light face rubs, chin scratches, and of course the rest of her body to be pet, especially when she’s in your lab. That’s when you get to hear the purr motor really rev up. She is also not shy in telling you what she wants. Whether it’s treats, pets, wet food, or your food. Even though she doesn’t get human food, that hasn’t stopped her from being all up in her foster’s space begging for scraps. You will also never have to worry about being in that scary bathroom by yourself. Paprika will follow you everywhere and make sure the shower curtain doesn’t attack you! She is not a fan of the dog most of the time, he is a bit annoying and tries to chase her when she’s playing. She has no problem letting him know to calm down and get out of her space. She would be fine with dogs in the home and would either tolerate or ignore them. She’ll even lay on the couch or snuggle with her bestie by the dog if he is being calm. She seems to get along with the older cats fine, but she may be too much energy for them. She gets along better with the cats/kittens that match her energy. She’s never met kids but would be great with them, especially if they played with her. She doesn’t seem to have a problem with strange humans either. She doesn’t greet them, but she also doesn’t run away. They can approach her for pets and play with no problems.
