My story

MittensFemale (spay appt on 4/29)Est. DOB 12/21/24 (4 months)24lbsHusky Mix Prepare to be smitten with Mittens! Can you believe this cuddle bug was the last of her siblings to be picked for her freedom ride to WNY? The reputation of this litter precedes her arrival with nothing but good vibes and good behavior.  Mittens, her siblings, and their mom, found themselves in an unlucky situation down in Texas dreaming of kind and loving arms. Mittens can be timid at first but she is learning to trust people more and more each day.‍ Due to her timid nature it is recommended that any children in the home be over 13 years of age. Mittens is learning that men aren’t so bad and that her family will keep her safe. As she gains more confidence her spunky husky personality peeks through! At her spunkiest you will get to hear her sweet little husky howls. She will let you know when she wants to play or snuggle. She almost always wants to snuggle. She is getting more comfortable being on leash and taking long walks. She is working really hard at potty training and has had minimal accidents when on a schedule. She is able to be crated when home alone and at night with minimal protest, though she prefers to cuddle up in your bed. She currently lives with her 85lb foster fur brother who she does her best to keep up with. She would love having a fur sibling to continue showing her the ropes, or to be your one and only princess. Her favorite hobbies are to run, chew on bones, and nap. Boy does she LOVE to nap. Mittens always tries to be on her best behavior, but is still a growing, curious puppy. She takes redirection well if she’s being naughty and remembers rules that have been given to her consistently. Mittens can use her voice when she’s scared and will need a home that understands her quirks and is willing to give her the time she needs to warm up at a slow and steady pace.                                                                                                If you are interested in Mittens, please apply at the adoption link in the comments below or message the rescue if you are already pre-approved. ##2360282##
