My story

This beautiful boy is Maurice! He arrived at the shelter as a lost dog on 4/8 and no one has come to reclaim him. Maurice's coat is just stunning and the volunteers describe him as a total sweetheart! He is gentle and sits nicely for treats! Maurice is still quite young so please ensure you have the time, patience, and energy for him before adopting. Maurice is approximately 1 year old and weighs 38 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and tested negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Maurice is waiting patiently in run 852; his ID # is 9239. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
