My story

Meet Daisy 🌼 At just a year old, Daisy has already been through more than any dog should. Coming from an abusive home, she never had the chance to simply be a dog—until a brave neighbor stepped in and got her to safety. That’s when Daisy’s new chapter began with DDBBR. And it’s like she knew right away that life was about to get better. On her very first night in foster care, Daisy celebrated with joyful zoomies around the backyard—a moment of pure freedom and happiness. Daisy is a social girl who loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful canine buddy. She’s an enthusiastic greeter, and while she can get a little excited, she’s learning to be respectful with her dog friends. She’s met cats and was very interested—so a home with kitties would need a slow, careful introduction. She’s also housetrained, people-loving, and just the right size at around 30–35 lbs. Daisy is the perfect mix of playful and snuggly, and she’s more than ready to find a home where she can feel safe, be loved, and run around to her heart’s content.
