Meet Nathaniel - Playgroup All-Star & Energetic Companion!Nathaniel is friendly, affectionate, and full of energy. He's a vibrant young dog who would thrive in a home with kids 12+ and a family that can match his enthusiasm while helping him learn how to relax and enjoy life at a gentler pace.Nathaniel will do best in a home that can provide both activity and structure. An active household with a fenced yard would be ideal, giving him the space to run, play, and burn off energy. At the same time, he's looking for a family with the patience and commitment to guide him toward becoming a more balanced companion-helping him develop his calm side through practice and consistency.Nathaniel has done exceptionally well in playgroups with a variety of dogs-he's what we proudly call a Playgroup All-Star! He's shown great social skills and enjoys canine company. However, to ensure the best fit, we do require any current resident dogs to come in for a dog introduction prior to adoption.While Nathaniel is still learning some basic commands and working on self-regulation, he has a lot of love to give and is eager to grow with the right guidance. HAWS staff are excited to support adopters with tools and advice to help him transition successfully into a home.Nathaniel is also eligible for our Foster to Adopt program.
