My story

Meet Ginger Snap! This sweet Hound pup was transferred to our shelter some time ago from one of our local partners. Ginger is a super sweet and fun girl who is very full of life and love. She adores making friends and in her eagerness to make more, she does tend to forget her manners and can be very jumpy and excessive at times. Due to her current size and the fact she is still growing, adopters will just need to keep this in mind and be willing to take the necessary time to work with her. Because she is a Hound mix pup, she loves to keep busy most of the time so lots of toys and fun enrichment will greatly benefit her. Ginger Snap did have siblings at her previous shelter, but was brought in solo to us so we are not sure how she does with other animals at this time, but we encourage applicants to have a dog meet and greet that we can arrange here at the shelter. With that said, please do any and all introductions slowly! Whether she is meeting new animals or new people, short and sweet is key.
