My story

This is Bonnie! She is a sweet sweet girl. She is a year old, 13 lb. miniature poodle, who is so ready for her forever home! She loves to cuddle and loves people with all of her heart! Bonnie was born with “small eyes”, as a result of bad breeding, therefor, she has limited vision. She can see enough that she can get used to her surroundings pretty quickly, but not enough to be going to new places all of the time. She would do best with somebody who works from home or is home most of the time, a canine companion who will play with her and lead her, like a seeing-eye dog, and a fenced in yard that she can learn and run around in as much as possible! She also does well with cats! Bonnie does not do stairs so if her forever home has them, she will need to be picked up to be taken up and down them. She can do about 2-3 stairs but anymore than that is too much with the limited vision she has. She does okay on a leash, but she does best in places she has figured out the boundaries at. She would also do best with older, dog-respective children. She loves kids but she jumps when she is excited and cannot always seen what she is jumping on.
