My story

“The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched; they must be felt with the heart.” Blind dogs adapt remarkably well, even to changing circumstances by relying on their heightened senses of smell, hearing and touch. Ready to listen intently as you read him the anticipated long list of potential adopters, this eight-year-old Poodle mix is Tino. Knowing the importance of staying active as a ‘young’ senior, he enjoys nice, long walks around the shelter grounds while sniffing all the sniffs along the way. Mild mannered, gentlemanly, and thoughtful, he is the ideal sidekick and companion for nearly any outing, reminding you to bring your keys and glasses.
