My story

Meet Cheese!!!! This pretty boy is a one-year-old Cattle Dog mix. He is currently looking for his forever home! Cheese came in as a stray and was never reclaimed. Cheese seems to do well with his kennel mate and doesn't seem bothered by cats. We don't know how well he does with kids, nor if he is house or crate trained. However, he is absolutely the best dog you could ever ask for. And what's even better is that he smiles!!! If his smile scares you, don't let it, because he only smiles out of happiness. His smile is telling you," Please take me home, I'll be the best dog, I promise". And don't forget, as always, we offer trial adoptions and meet and greets to ensure he will be the right one for you!!! Cheese is HW NEGATIVE and UTD on vaccinations and ready to meet his forever family. Cheese is a NO CHARGE adoption in memory of Linda Jako.Dogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. Our system automatically updates adoptable websites every two hours. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have. Our contact number is 270-887-4175. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
