Meet Wayne – A Sweet Soul Searching for a Fresh Start Wayne’s journey began just a few days ago when he was found wandering alone, with no one coming forward to claim him. Despite the rough start, this gentle boy has remained nothing but kind-hearted and full of potential. Now officially part of our rescue family, Wayne is ready for the next chapter—ideally with a foster or foster-to-adopt home where he can continue to learn, grow, and feel loved. Still young and eager to please, Wayne is soaking up all the care and guidance he’s receiving. He’s shown himself to be incredibly sweet and affectionate, with a heart as big as his curiosity. So far, he’s proven to be cat-friendly, non-reactive around fences or barriers, and is currently being introduced to other dogs with no signs of reactivity. Wayne is working hard on both crate and potty training, and he’s catching on quickly. He’s the kind of dog who thrives on praise and connection—and with a little structure and routine, he’s bound to blossom into a truly wonderful companion. Wayne has already captured our hearts, and we have no doubt he’ll steal yours too. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal pup who’s ready for a second chance, Wayne might just be your perfect match. Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
