Approximate Date of Birth: 5/15/2016 Description:   At 8 years young, Lucy is a refined lady who is used to being loved. She loves a quiet home with no other cats or children. She can seem to be a little reserved at first, but she definitely loves to be petted and become someone's best friend once she gets to know the person. Once she trusts you, Lucy becomes an affectionate, loyal companion who’ll happily share quiet moments and purr-filled evenings by your side. Lucy is perfect for someone looking for a calm, low-key companion who’ll quietly steal your heart. If you believe that love grows slowly but deeply, Lucy might just be your perfect match. Words to Describe Me: Slow to trust, sweet and loving as she gets comfortable Favorite Place to Sleep: A cozy nook where she can feel safe and snug Kitty's Likes: Scratches on top of her head between her ears Kitty's Dislikes: Doesn't like to be picked up Fastest Way to Get Me to Purr: Spend quality quiet time with me Favorite Treat: Tuna Good with Cats: Does not care for cats. Good with Dogs: Unknown, but optimistic (Animal has not met any dogs.)   Good with Children: Does not care for children. Companion Animal: Not necessary.   Health information: All cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered, FeLV / FIV tested (as indicated by age), receive vaccinations appropriate for age, preventative deworming, and microchipping prior to adoption as appropriate by age. Adoption Process:   Our adoptable animals are located at one of our adoption centers or in foster homes. We require interested parties to apply prior to meeting to ensure a good match.
