My story

Goosey is so sweet and loving, and since he is 100% potty-trained he won't hide little eggs around your home! He has the face of a Golden and a beautiful fleece coat. He loves walks and is great on a lea..squirrel! - okay, maybe just good on a leash if a squirrel doesn’t show up, yet still very manageable. Goosey is also really smart. Intelligence + food motivation = one fast learner! Athletic as well, Goosey "feels the need for speed" (he wrote that) and will be a great running buddy who is respectful of your pace. Goosey will not let you duck out (he insisted) on what is important to him—cuddles and companionship. He wants to be where you are. He does well in the car and at the Vet. While he is okay in a crate where he can easily stand and turn around, he wants to level set—he’s much happier not being cooped up. Goosey is a good boy and does well left out on his own. Goosey has medium energy. He can romp and nap with equal joy. His size may be better suited to kids 10+. With proper warm-up time and introductions, Goosey is good with other dogs, too. Like all adopted dogs, he will need the proper time to decompress in his new surroundings and routine. He will do best in a home where his family is home most of the time.
