My story

Molasses is a charming, 2-year-old American Bulldog Mix with a heart as big as her goofy, adorable grin. She celebrated her second birthday this past Christmas, and her youthful, playful energy shines through in everything she does! Originally adopted by my father when she was just 4 months old, Molasses was his constant companion. Together, they explored dog parks twice a week, making her a social butterfly who’s fantastic with other animals. Sadly, after my father passed away, Molasses has been missing that special bond and is eager to share her love with a new forever family. What makes Molasses so special? Energetic & Playful: She loves to run, play fetch, and join you on outdoor adventures. Cuddle Bug: When playtime is over, she’s all about snuggles and belly rubs. Great with Kids & Pets: Molasses has grown up with children, other dogs, and even a cat. She’s a gentle soul who fits in beautifully with furry and human siblings alike. Smart & Trainable: She knows commands like “sit” and “paw” and isn’t shy about pawing at you for extra attention. Important Care Information: Allergy-Friendly Diet: Molasses is allergic to chicken and will need a diet free from chicken-based foods (We give her a salmon blend from Costco!). Special Grooming Needs: She requires baths with a medical shampoo to keep her coat and skin healthy. Training Updates: Molasses is currently working on: Polishing her leash manners (she gets excited when she sees something interesting). Not jumping on people (she just loves greeting everyone with enthusiasm!). The ideal home for Molasses: Molasses thrives in a home with: A spacious backyard for zoomies and exploration. An active family or individual who loves trips to the dog park or daily walks. Another dog companion to play with (bonus points for that!). While she’s house-trained, Molasses can get a little anxious when left alone, so she’ll need a sturdy crate to keep her safe and secure during your absences. Why adopt Molasses? This sweet girl has so much love to give and deserves a family that can match her boundless affection. Due to my limited space and time, I can’t provide her with the life she deserves—but you can!
