My story

THIS RAINBOW WANTS TO CONNECT WITH YOU 🌈 Rainbow Fish is a 4-month-old survivor with a name as joyful as his spirit. After a tough start to life, he’s now thriving in foster care and ready to bring his contagious zest for life to a forever home! This sweet pup is currently living with two resident dogs and has adjusted like a champ. He’s still learning the art of polite play, but he responds well to correction and genuinely wants to get it right. Rainbow Fish even met some toddlers and was happy, social, and affectionate with everyone (though he’s still learning what’s appropriate to nibble on, as puppies do). He’s also in the early stages of crate and potty training. While Rainbow Fish is not fully housetrained yet, he's making great progress with a regular schedule and lots of positive reinforcement! He’s learning that his crate is a cozy, safe space – and all his meals are served there to help build that association. Rainbow Fish is recovering beautifully from demodex mange and a mystery tail injury (don’t worry, it’s healing well and doesn’t slow down his full-body wiggles). Whether it's under a blanket, on your lap, or nestled into your legs, this pup is all about that snuggle life. The rest of the time you can find him tussling with his foster brother, chasing tennis balls, or chewing on oversized toys. Rainbow Fish is the kind of dog who will make you laugh, melt your heart, and fill your camera roll in no time. Ready to add a splash of joy to your life?
