My story

How Angel arrived: Angel was brought in by her previous owner on 4/16/25. Why Angel is the one for you:Sweet Angel is learning to trust, one gentle moment at a time.In our care, her fearfulness and sensitivity have slowly softened, and she's beginning to show signs that she's ready to let love in. With patience, understanding, and a calm environment, Angel will continue to blossom into the loyal little companion we know she can be.She shared her previous home with another small dog and did well.Because Angel is still working on building confidence, she'll need a home without young children. Older kids who understand the importance of quiet, respectful interactions and safe spaces are welcome. A virtual behavior consult is required to help her new family support her gentle journey forward. At SDHS:This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed.
