DIPPY*

My story

You may recognize the 1945 Disney song that goes, “Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay. Wonderful feeling, wonderful day. Yes, Sir Zip-a-dee-doo-dah, zip-a-dee-ay. My oh my, what a wonderful day.” We can’t help but want to plug in our sweet boy Dippy’s name into the song and rework it as, “Dippy-dee-doo-dah, Dippy-dee-day. My oh my, sweet boy should go home today!”Here`s what one volunteer had to say:“Dippy is a calm, sensitive and sweet pup. He was a little nervous when I met him at his kennel, but I was easily able to leash him up and walk over to a play yard. Once in the yard he sniffed all the corners of the yard and when his kennelmate joined him, he engaged in some gentle and dainty play. He would approach me for a treat and let me scratch his sweet little chin. He`s looking for a family who will let him decompress from the stressful shelter life and show what a sweetie-pie-honey-bunch he really is! He also seemed to take his cues from his kennelmate. When his kennelmate approached me, he did as well. He’d probably love a confident, friendly doggy companion in a new home.”Dippy shares his kennel with another PACC pup and has been playful when meeting other dogs in playgroup. Staff described him as being super sweet and easygoing overall. Dippy is hoping to find a family who will take things slow and let him settle into a home environment at his own pace. That patience will be rewarded with a life of grateful love from a tender, gentle pup. Dippy is dreaming of the wonderful day when he finds his furever home. Could it be with you?
