My story
He is as sweet as he looks! Desi is a 2 yr-old 45 lb brindle and white terrier pit that arrived at the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 4/18 as a stray. After he was finished exploring in the yard, he came back and stood by the door. It was a nice day so I took it to mean that he’s been an indoor dog and he wanted to go inside. He came to me when I sat down. He’s gentle, easy-going, sweet, affectionate, friendly, and happy. He walked OK on a leash. He did his business as soon as he got out into the yard. With his laid-back personality he should do well with children. He’s adamant that he wants to be an inside dog so he can love on his new family and they can love on him.
