My story

Meet Snowy, a 2-year-old, 9 lb. chihuahua with a heart as sweet as her name. This petite little girl is as charming as she is adorable—her soft white coat and ears that look like toasted marshmallows make her irresistibly cute! She came to Connecticut all the way from California after being found as a stray. Now she’s in a loving foster home awaiting her happily furever after. While Snowy is small in size, she has a big heart and is a master at cuddling, whether it be with her people or other pups. She appreciates a gentle, slow approach and prefers the calm, reassuring presence of women. That said, she can warm up to a patient man who's willing to earn her trust. Snowy is currently being fostered in a home with multiple dogs and thrives in their company. She’s well socialized and needs a canine buddy in her furever home as she gains a lot of confidence from her furry friends. Snowy is house trained, walks well on leash, enjoys sniffing adventures outside, and has a playful side when it comes to small toys. She’s looking for a loving, quiet home where she can continue to bloom at her own pace and will make a wonderful addition to any family. Could Snowy be your perfect match?
