My story

Meet Ruby! This sweet 5-month-old pup was recently surrendered by her previous owner and is now searching for a patient, loving home where she can blossom. With her soft eyes and gentle spirit, Ruby is the kind of pup who melts hearts without even trying. Ruby has a moderate energy level, enjoying bursts of playtime followed by snuggles on the couch with her favorite humans. She loves toys, is great with kids and other dogs, and is always ready for a cuddle once she’s feeling comfortable. She’s still very much a puppy and is not housetrained yet, so she’ll need someone willing to guide her with consistency and kindness. Ruby is a bit shy and timid, especially in new environments, but with time and gentle encouragement, she starts to open up and show her playful side. While Ruby thrives around people and dogs, she is not a good fit for a home with cats, as she tends to get overstimulated around them. Because she’s still learning the world around her, she would do best in a calm, stable environment with someone who can help build her confidence and show her that the world is a safe and loving place.
