My story

Meet me by appointment in my foster home in Carmel, NY Around mid-February, the shelter staff's hearts melted for a precious stray who arrived, a sweet soul named Ms. Maggie. They couldn't help but notice her adorably round tummy, and while they first thought she was just carrying a little extra love, a visit to the vet revealed the most heartwarming news... Maggie was going to be a mama! Soon after, she gifted the world with seven little miracles – six handsome boys and one darling little girl. Each one has inherited their mama's sunny disposition and are the most joyful little bundles of love to be around! They shower their humans with puppy love and will undoubtedly spend their lives being the most devoted companions to their forever families. The puppy identifying apps suggest they might have a touch of boxer, puggle, or bully in them... who knows what charming fellow their daddy was! While they don't have their mama's scruffy coat, her loving DNA is surely woven into each of them. What we know for certain is that they are a beautiful blend of their sweet momma and their mysterious daddy! How to meet dogs listed with “NY” : • If the dog is listed with an ‘Avail date” and a (location) – the dog cannot be met until the event and it is a first come, first served adoption event with the dogs being met in the order the potential adopters sign in. • If the dog is listed as being in a (foster home) please email us at info@pawsafe.org and we will set up an appointment for you to meet the dog(s) that interest you at their foster home(s). **** We are sorry, but we cannot adopt to Massachusetts residents.
