Mittens

My story

A volunteer writes:Mittens is a pretty calico girl who came to us with senior Buster(already rescued) as their owner became unable to take care of them. Mittens is known to be a shy and quiet gal who usually eases overtime into a friendly and affectionate kitty. She would be great with her 3 feline housemates. At the care center, Mittens has been very timid but is slowly showing signs that she is ready to come out of her shell. She is a bit of a "cookie monster".. Temptations get her out of her "retreat" and move her forward, allowing gentle head petting and neck scratching(see her video). Everyday brings her close to freedom, freedom from her fear and freedom to leave us for a loving home, yours. Mittens will likely need time  to get used to a new life and new owners but with love and patience, she will get there sooner than you might think.
