My story

Meet Mission Instagram: @missiononamission   When Mission first arrived, he was shy and scared—he flinched when touched, kept his tail tucked, and tried to hide under furniture. He wanted to be left alone and was especially nervous about elevators and going outside.   But we gave him time and space to come to us on his own terms. Slowly, Mission began to explore, build trust, and grow more confident. Now, he happily trots outside to go potty and leave his scent, unbothered by the things that once overwhelmed him.   Once Mission came out of his shell, we began intentionally socializing him—with calm, friendly dogs in neutral settings. He’s proven to be playful, respectful, and dog-friendly, especially when paired with pups whose energy complements his own.   Now that he trusts us, Mission is deeply affectionate—he’ll be your little shadow, always nearby, offering kisses and curling up next to you for cuddles. He still carries that puppy charm—curious, sweet, and gentle—but without the chaos of teething or potty accidents. He's fully potty trained and great in car rides.    His energy level is about 4/10—besides his potty breaks (every 5-6 hours), a 30-minute walk and a few short play sessions (usually under 15 minutes) are enough to keep him content. Most of all, he wants to be by your side and love you.   It has been incredibly rewarding and heartwarming to foster Mission. In just two months, he’s shown us how resilient and trusting he can be. Though he’s still shy at first, with patience and love, Mission will blossom into your most loyal companion.   If you’re looking for a gentle, loving pup to share your life with, Mission might just be the perfect match.   Follow his journey: @missiononamission on Instagram Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States and Korea. ##2367283##
