My story

Hi, I’m Zephyr — your tiny, purring shadow and ultimate couch companion. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate cat who just wants to lounge around and be loved, I’m your girl.I’m a total couch potato. I don’t need much to be happy — a cozy bed, a sunny spot to nap in, some gentle pets, and maybe a Temptations treat (or two... okay, three). I’m not much for toys or running around these days — I’m a little older and just prefer to relax.I do best as the only pet in the home. I like to be the center of attention and, since I’m declawed, I can’t really defend myself around other animals. I’ve met kids before and, honestly, I’m not a fan — I prefer a quiet, calm environment with adults who understand my chill lifestyle.When new people come over, I’m curious and friendly! I love to be pet and will absolutely let you know I’m happy by purring nonstop. I’m small, sweet, and incredibly easy to please — just give me affection, snacks, and company.I do have kidney disease, so I need someone who can be attentive and committed to my health as I get older. I can be a little picky about my food (wouldn’t you be, too, if your meals were all “prescription”?), but with some patience and love, I thrive.My ideal family would be gentle, patient adults — especially someone who works from home or is around a lot. I get a little anxious when left alone for too long, and I just feel better when I know you’re nearby.If you want a soft, snuggly, low-maintenance companion with a big heart and a tiny body, I’m waiting for you.
