My story

Nobody knows how to wear a hat quite like I do&#44 donandamp;#39;t you think? Hi there&#44 Iandamp;#39;m Ava! A sweet and silly girl that canandamp;#39;t wait for her forever family. Thankfully&#44 all the kind people at the shelter have given me so much to be happy about. Iandamp;#39;ve learned what it means to be house trained&#44 how to share my toys&#44 and Iandamp;#39;ve experienced what it means to be loved&#44 really and truly loved by a human. andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;I want so much to trust every human I meet right away. But I need a little time to get to know someone and really develop a sense of connection and love for that human. The shelter experience lends itself to a lot of unfamiliar people needing to interact with me often&#44 and I get nervous and scared around all that attention. I prefer slower introductions&#44 getting to know the person&#44 and finding that I can trust that no one wants to hurt me. Once there is patience and understanding between us&#44 Iandamp;#39;m a little doll. Iandamp;#39;ve got quite the personality&#44 and I want so much to be a part of a family and feel included in activities.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;I am also kennel trained&#44 and I like to sleep in my quiet little spot. Iandamp;#39;ve been soaking up the love in a foster home recently. When Iandamp;#39;m not snuggled up with Foster Dad&#44 I enjoy playing with my toys and snoozing the day way. I absolutely adore squeaky toys&#44 and Iandamp;#39;m a big fan of car rides&#44 too. Starbuckandamp;#39;s Pup Cup anyone?andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Before I fully commit to a family&#44 Iandamp;#39;d really love to meet everyone to ensure we all have that special connection. Since Iandamp;#39;m still learning that new people are indeed trustworthy&#44 I would appreciate older kids who know how to be gentle with me. Love is a two-way street&#44 you know. I canandamp;#39;t wait to shower my new family with endless love&#44 loyalty&#44 and lots of joy. Together&#44 weandamp;#39;ll make beautiful memories&#44 and I promise to be the best companion anyone could ask for.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Love from Ava
