My story

Meet Aurora! At just 1.5 years old, Aurora is already a total social butterfly! This confident and cuddly girl is always ready to charm everyone she meets. At her very first adoption event, she handled the crowd like a pro—soaking up the love, purring nonstop, and showing off her brave, friendly spirit. Aurora has done wonderfully with other cats and would thrive in a home with feline friends. Dogs, however, aren't really her thing—so we’re recommending a dog-free home or one with very slow, respectful introductions. If you're looking for a sweet, outgoing companion to brighten your days, Aurora is your girl. ---------------------------------------- ADOPTION FEES Altered kitten - $150 Pair of altered kittens - $220 Cat 6 months or older - $75 Adoption fees cover the cost of care and veterinary services. All adoptable cats have received: Spay/neuter surgery if over 2lbs Distemper vaccine Rabies vaccine (if over 16 weeks old) De-wormer and flea prevention medication Veterinary exam Test for FIV and FeLV Microchip ADOPTION PROCESS 1. Review our adoption contract and application. 2. Call your vet and references to inform them that a rescue representative will be calling. 3. Submit an application, including the cat's name that you are interested in or description of what you are looking for. If approved, you will be introduced to the foster to schedule a meeting within 5 days. Guidelines for the meeting are: - Bring a carrier and be prepared to take the animal home directly from the meeting. - Please be prepared to submit the adoption fee via electronic payment at the meeting. - If all goes well, the cat will go home with you directly after the meeting. If you are not ready to adopt at the conclusion of the meeting, please understand that we may process other applications for the cat. Because we have a limited number of foster homes, we cannot hold cats past adoption. 6.
