Meet Rufus Rufus – From Canyon Castaway to Couch King Meet Rufus, a 2-year-old brindle Cane Corso with the heart of a lion and the past of a legend. Once a stray surviving solo in a Sylmar canyon, it took two weeks and two very determined humans to rescue this elusive boy. He arrived scared, shut down, and clueless about the basics—cars, crates, even how to dog. But with patience, training, and some serious TLC, Rufus has blossomed into a well-mannered, crate-trained, obedience rockstar. He’s healthy, handsome, and finally ready for his forever home—but he’ll need someone experienced with guardian breeds.
