Lil Bit

My story

Apply to Adopt Me! Meet Lil Bit, a 1-2 year old, 6-lb. bundle of energetic Chihuahua. Lil Bit is very sweet but also full of sass, we say she’s pint sized but has a gallon of attitude. She has a very outgoing personality and greets new people with enthusiastic nibbles and kisses. As much as she is a ball of energy and loves to play, she’s also an expert snuggler, who loves nothing more than to curl up in your lap once she’s tired. Her favorite place to sleep at night is under the covers, pressed up against her favorite person. Lil Bit loves the companionship and playing with other small dogs but she does better with males due to having a dominant, alpha dog demeanor. And no large dogs, she doesn’t like them and becomes very defensive. Children make her nervous as well, though she does eventually warm up to them; but due to her very small stature, if the home has kids, she would do best in a home with older quieter children. Lil Bit is crate trained, house broken, but needs to be let out frequently due to her small size. She would do best with a fenced back yard as she is young and active and zooming through the yard is one of her favorite activities. She is also learning to walk well on a leash and is a great car rider. She's not really a toy kind of gal. She really is a big dog personality in a tiny package and would do best with someone who has experience with chihuahuas.
