Oh my heck this little girl is an absolute sweetheart and is a legit baby seal!! The only difference between an actual baby seal and this sweetie is that you can actually take this one home! Bella has the sweetest face and the sweetest heart. Everything about her is adorable and if her sweet little pittie face doesn’t make you head over heels for her then her personality will. My favorite thing about her are those big brown eyes of hers and the way she looks at people, even those she just met. She quite literally looks into your soul. I’m obsessed with her and would take her home in a heartbeat! She’s the sweetest thing! She will sit at your feet, cuddle up, sit in your lap and be as close as possible. When you adopt Bella and bring her home, you’ll find that you have yourself a true snuggly bestie that will love you no matter what. Watch her video and fall in love with this girl: https://youtu.be/bOn456pvIOA?si=fR61KeFEPHGxdlT5 Bella is a pittie mix approximately 7 years old and currently weighs 40 lbs. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Let's be honest though, she's actually a baby seal but that wasn't a breed option listed so we went with the next best thing. Also, don't let her pictures fool you, she's tiny y'all! She is not too big and not too small, she is just the right size. Bella is very dog friendly and has been in play groups with upwards of 20 dogs! As you can imagine that is a lot of different personalities, sizes of dogs, different play styles, and ages all in one setting and Bella does great with it all. She is not a very playful gal with the other dogs and is a tolerant little lady with the rowdy youngsters. She will give a correction to those youngster dogs who get all up in her face trying to her get to play which is totally fair. For the most part, Bella being your little shadow in playgroups and asking for affection. If you have another dog, her best match would be a pup that matches her speed. Cool, calm, and collected with no real interest in playing simply because Bella isn't a playful type with dogs. She would love to just hangout, enjoy the company of the other dog, and maybe even cuddle up together (but no promises there). Bella also wouldn't mind being your one and only fur baby too. She loves the attention and she doesn't need the company of another dog to help her feel comfortable either. Bella is a happy confident girly all on her own. She has also been introduced to our house cat Biggie and she was very avoidant of him and wanted nothing to do with him. Biggie was jumping around, playing, meowing, doing all the things that cats do and she still wanted noting to do with him. We do believe that with slow and proper introductions that Bella could live in a home with a cat. We do not know if she has ever lived with a cat and things can always change once in a home. Everyone knows that saying, "age is just a number," well that cannot be anymore true with Bella. As stated above, we estimate her age to be around 7 years old and she doesn't act like a little old lady one bit. I also have to mention that she has the most perfect grey confetti sprinkled throughout her face and just makes that sweet face of her even more sweet. Yes, she is pretty laid back for the most I would say 60% of the time but she still finds so much joy in all the things. Bella would love to go exploring through nature trails with you, take a trip to the beach, learn new tricks, and do all the things with you. She loves the water too, so if you live near a beach, have a pool, or even a pond or lake on or near your home you will definitely find her dipping her paws in the water and going for a swim. At the end of the day, Bella will gladly snuggle up with you on the couch. She also does not need exercise or an adventure for her to want to cuddle and be snuggly, she comes by her snuggly wanna be lap dog nature honestly. So if you want to have a lazy day and stay home watching movies all day or if the weather doesn't permit for outdoor time, she's happy to have a lazy day with you. Bella not only has the potential to be your next little adventure buddy but she's super smart too and loves treats! She already knows some commands such as sit, has a fairly decent recall already, and walks like an angel on leash. She is crate and potty trained, has great house manners, and from what we have seen she has always been quite in her kennel. Bella could thrive in a home with a backyard or even an apartment. We believe she could be happy in both environments. If you're someone that works from home, she would be a great work from home buddy. She will absolutely ask for affection every now and then and may even want to snuggle on the couch with you while you answer emails as well. Bella is great company to have around to matter what you're doing if we're being honest. We have not seen her with kids just yet and we can absolutely test that for you but her loving and gentle nature makes us believe that she would make a great family dog. We are willing to test Bella with anything you need us to in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Questions? Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
