My story

How this pet arrived: Groot was brought in by a community member. At SDHS:Groot has been vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neutered and is now ready for his new home! Why Groot might the one for you: We don't know how Groot got his name and we don't know what it means. But, you can change his name in exchange for giving Groot the caring home he so wants. Groot is quite handsome with his four white paws and white stripe between his eyes. But, his ears scream cuteness with their perky flopped over look, like they can't decide whether to be stand up ears or flopped over ears. He greets at the front of his kennel with soft eyes, tail wagging and ready for his leash to be taken out for a walk. He loves his walks and checks in with his walker often for pets and attention. Groot is an active guy who will want space and frequent outings. He is a playful guy who will want lots of games of fetch. He will want to learn tricks so he can get attention.
