My story

How this pet arrived: was brought in by a community member. At SDHS: Kiwi has been vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neutered and is now ready for his new home! Why Kiwi might be the one for you: Kiwi looks like the type of dog who is in movies as the hero dog. He is alert and takes his job as family protector seriously except when he is napping and cuddling. He can be vocal about telling you when he wants to go out to do his business or to play. He greets people with a wiggly body and waggy tail, both of which are very endearing. He is easy to leash and is anxious to go out to the play yard. In our play yard, he becomes a sniffer dog as he checks out every corner and sniffs everything he finds. Kiwi is the type of dog who is confident and protective, always putting the safety of his humans first. Kiwi will want a dedicated family who will make him an integral part of the family. Kiwi will need space for physical exercise and mental stimulation to keep from being bored. Kiwi is an active sort and will fit in best with an active household. Does that sound like your place?
