My story

We were told that Sophie and her puppy Sky were abandoned in Marianna and running as strays. We feel that these were owned dogs in the community but accepted them into our foster home program. Sophie (10/2023) is a very sweet, gentle and playful Carolina dog/ cattle dog mix weighing around 40 pounds. Sophie has one blue eye, one brown eye, which gives her a sweet wide eye appeal! Sophie is housebroken, crate trained, does well with other dogs with slow introductions and is non reactive to cats. She knows and understands basic commands. She will be fully vetted in the upcoming weeks. Sophie will be the perfect companion for a family with children because of her gentleness.
