My story

Introducing Sally! She was brought to the shelter on 4/12 because she was on a journey to find her way home. Miss Sally is only 6 years old and weighs a mere 43lbs. The volunteers describe her as sweet, cute, gentle, and obedient. She is a bit timid but that is understandable because she is in a scary place. She is beautiful little girl! Volunteers are working with her to help her come out of her shell. All it takes is patience, devotion, time, and unconditional love. We believe in Miss Sally! A volunteer came by her kennel to visit with her the other day and gave her a blanket and some treats. She seemed very excited and grateful that someone took the time to let her know she matters. She is so quiet in her kennel you would never know she was there. She appears to have had pups in the past but is now spayed. Please take some time and visit with her in Run 20; her ID is 9332. She is waiting for you! Please help her find her way out of the shelter and into your heart, home and family. Sally is current on vaccines, spayed, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Please take some time and schedule to meet this awesome kiddo and get to know her a little better. Sally is probably what you have been looking for all this time. She is patiently waiting for her forever family to save her life. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
