My story

Meet Ballerina, a soft and gentle sweetheart who’s been through so much — but still believes in love. Her foster mom lovingly calls her Callie, and she’s about 2 years old, fully vetted, healthy, and ready to find the safe, warm home she’s always deserved. Callie was rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation, found in the basement of a home where she had been severely neglected. She was starving when we met her — she devoured three full cans of tuna with such desperation, it broke our hearts. Despite everything she endured, when we gently picked her up and placed her into a carrier, she didn’t resist. It was like she knew help had finally arrived. And now, she’s blooming! Callie is one of those rare souls who, even after such a hard start, is full of sweetness and hope. She adores attention, loves to be near her humans, and is still a bit emotionally needy — in the most endearing way. She’s been an indoor cat her whole life, and her kind, loving nature shines through every day in her foster home. With just a little time and patience, she will become someone’s most loyal and loving companion. She’s soft, round, warm, and incredibly easy to love. Callie is ready to be safe forever — ready to be cherished, cuddled, and never hungry or lonely again!
