My story

Ruby (9 years old) Ruby has the lovely black-and-white coat pattern of a classic tuxedo cat. She is reserved and gentle, but if you give her a few moments, she will come out of hiding and greet you. Once she trusts you, she will pop right out from wherever she is and prance right up to you with a big hello. It's quite something to see this role-poly gal on her teeny, dainty toes doing circles around your ankles and rubbing against them. She will also dart up by side if you are on the couch, and she'll roll into you with glee and purrs. Sometimes this older kitty has the energy and cheerfulness of a 1-year-old, but she does need a calm household where people will accept her on her own terms and let her call the shots. She might prefer to be an only cat so that she can have your love all to herself. With patience, the beautiful Ruby will no doubt become the quiet star of your house, radiating warmth, sweetness, and love.
