My story

Meet Hattie! Sweet Hattie was surrendered to a busy shelter by her family for being a senior dog. Hattie was understandably nervous when she first came to us. She loves to be pet and picked up and has now gained the confidence to seek it out herself. Hattie will need an adopter who can allow her the time to feel safe and come out of her shell which doesn't take long with this girl. We think having another gentle, well balanced dog in the home would benefit her as well. Hattie is very food motivated and is easy to win over with some yummy treats, she has been brave and explored her new surroundings outside on leash and is comfortable in a crate. Hattie does have luxating patellas which limits her mobility slightly. She can only tolerate easy going walks and does take an anti inflammatory.
