Meet Maggie! Looking for a smart, spunky, and sweet companion to join your active lifestyle? Maggie might be your girl! This beautiful 3-year-old, 51 lb. mixed breed pup (with a likely dash of Treeing Walker Coonhound) is ready to sniff out her forever home--and maybe a few squirrels along the way!Maggie is thriving in her local foster home, where she’s made great progress with house-training, crate training, and leash walking. She’s still learning that it’s okay to slow down and enjoy the world one paw-step at a time, but her curious nose still loves to lead the way!She’s on the medium-to-high energy side and would be happiest in a home with a fenced-in yard where she can stretch her legs and enjoy a good daily romp. Maggie could do well with dog-savvy kids 5+ and other dogs that match her size and playful energy. She hasn’t met any cats yet, so her feline compatibility remains a mystery.Whether she’s following her nose, zooming around the yard, or curling up for a post-adventure snuggle, Maggie brings joy, loyalty, and a little houndy humor to every day.Her foster says, `Maggie is a very smart and very sweet, loving dog. She loves to be petted and just hang out on the couch getting attention. She also loves to play with other dogs and go for a nice long sniffy walks. I feel that she is the perfect dog all the way around. Just enough playtime, just enough relax time, just enough to make life, joyous, and be the perfect companion.`She is available for adoption in Hopkinton or Medway, MA by appointment.
