My story

Hi! My name is Jelly! I was rescued by an animal shelter in South Carolina before arriving at the Big Dog Ranch Rescue. I am a total sweetheart who just loves to love and be loved! I have a habit of jumping up on people, but this is just my way of saying, "I love you!! Please love me!!" I like to play with other dogs, but can be selective at times with who I choose to engage with. I think I could make an excellent family dog, but may do best in a home with slightly older children, as I mentioned previously, I don't quite seem to be aware of my size and may jump up on them. I think I'd be a great choice for either an experienced dog owner or a first-time adopter and I think that I could be comfortable in a variety of home environments, ranging from an apartment to a house with a large yard. I also wouldn't mind living in a busy home or a quiet home, but I do love to engage with new visitors, so feel free to invite plenty of guests over. I feel I would benefit from a little training to work on my manners and to learn how to show love without jumping. I am also a very active girly, as I LOVE to go for walks, play with toys, and fetch....I can't wait for the chance to play with you!!
