My story

Hi all, my name is Rue! I’m a 7 month old, golden-eyed shepherd mix beauty. My ears aren’t sure if they want to stand up or be floppy, and foster mom thinks they are the cutest. Since I grew up in the shelter environment, I didn’t learn all the things of how to be the very best girl so foster mom and my foster fur-brothers are teaching me. I’m a really fast learner and really soaking in all the positive training. I do love my foster brothers, and they are teaching me boundaries as sometimes I get so excited to play with them and don’t know that all dogs don’t like me in their face. They are very patient and kind so if my forever family had fur-siblings for me, I’d love it, they’d just need to keep teaching me boundaries. I can be a little fearful of loud noises that happen outside (fireworks, loud cars, lawn mowers, et cetera) but as long as foster mom is close while I’m outside, I’m much braver.
