My story

Distinguished Gentleman Seeking Furever Retirement Home Leroy and his housemate Hendrix came to Paws when their owner was moved to hospice. No one in the family was able to take these boys in. The boys have now joined the Paws family on a temporary basis while they seek their new furever homes. Leroy is very talkative. He wants to hear all about your day and will answer your questions. He has a distinct loud meow that you can hear from several rooms away. So don't think you can walk away and not hear his side of the story. Or hear about his day... When he is ready for cuddle time, he will gently persuade you to find your way to a chair or couch so he can hop up with you and soak in the loves. Happiest in someone’s lap or a windowsill/back of couch with a view of the great outdoors. He was his mom’s emotional support and never left her side when she got sick. This big boy (weighing around 15 lbs!!) loves his scratch pads and scratches behind his ears. If the weather is on the chilly side, Leroy loves to sleep under the covers.  Leroy is an absolute lovebug that is sure to steal your heart within minutes of meeting.
