My story

Hi! I’m Millie, and I’m a sweet and silly girl who just wants to be close to my people. I get so excited when I see you and love following you around the house—being near you makes me feel happy and safe!I already know a few cool tricks like “sit,” “stand up,” and “paw” (especially when there are treats involved—I love treats!). I get super excited at mealtime and when it’s time to go outside, and I walk really well on a leash. I also love sitting in the yard and watching everything that’s going on—there’s just so much to see!I haven’t met other dogs or kids yet, so I’m not sure how I feel about them, but I’m friendly and excited when I meet new people, especially women. I can be a little shy around men at first, but I warm up with a gentle approach.I’m a bit of a goofball—my favorite hobby is shredding toys (and sometimes other stuff, oops!). I’m also a bit of an escape artist and can climb fences, so I’ll need a secure yard and people who keep a good eye on me.Even though I’m full of energy and excitement, I don’t have separation anxiety—I just get a little curious and into things when I’m left to my own devices. I haven’t been crate trained yet, but I’m a smart girl and eager to learn.If you’re looking for a fun, loving companion who’ll stick by your side and keep you smiling, I might be the one for you!Adoption fee $50Millie is part of our Home to Home Program.
