**Philadoptables is generously offering $300 toward Siena's care for the rescue that pulls.** **$595 in pledges to any rescue that may pull!** Siena ACCT-A-217181 MUST LEAVE BY6PM 4/11 Siena is a 4-year-old female who was brought in by police as a stray on 4/9. She is emaciated and is in urgent need of placement. Per an exam on 4/10: “Emaciated body condition. Objective: -Mouth: MM paler pink, healthy dentition w/ mild calculus -Dehydrated by turgor -Very thin w/ generalized muscle wasting. Ravenous appetite -Sweet and tolerant girl -Body condition score of 2 Assessment: -Emaciated body condition -Non-regenerative vs pre-regenerative anemia -Mild neutrophilia -Hypophosphatemia -Hypoalbuminemia Plan: In house CBC/chem17/lytes: HCT 29.5%, neutrophils 11,970/uL, platelets 748,000/uL, phosphorus 2.1 mg/dl, albumin 2.2 g/dl” Per an exam on 4/9: “P has a BCS of a 1 or a 2 on the purina body score scale. A low body score could indicate an increased risk of refeeding syndrome when provided access to an unregulated amount of food. P's current weight: 35lbs. P's ideal weight: 45-50lbs” Behavior Notes: Per staff 4/10: “Siena behaved perfectly for her physical exam and tolerated all handling. Despite her ravenous appetite, she even allowed the nurse to take food directly from her mouth with no issue!” Per staff 4/9: “Went to retrieve the dog from the car, she was nervous and didn't want to get out but me and another staff member was able to leash her and she got out and was so sweet she tucked her head into the staff members lap and excepted love and pets. I did not see any signs of aggression/growling etc.” Police noted that Siena was “Aggressive tried to bite me.” ACCT Philly is located at 111 West Hunting Park Ave in Philadelphia.
