My story

After the forest fire swept through, Uljin was left with this nasty burnt smell and ashes all around. WEACT went in twice over three days and managed to rescue a total of 30 dogs that were caught up in the burned homes and chaos. Within this group, 19 were from Uljin Animal Shelter. When the fire started closing in on the shelter's area, they swiftly relocated the dogs to safety. However, the larger dogs faced a challenge as there wasn't a proper spot, leaving them exposed to the cold outdoors with only a blanket in a small kennel. While #weact_rosaline miraculously avoided the fire's reach, she had ended up on the shelter’s euthanasia list. Luckily, she's now found a safe haven and comfort at WEACT.
